The drought in Cape Town was coming to an end with snow covered mountains and north east winds finally bringing rain to our thirsty land.
The cold sounded like a good excuse to escape to the sun to do some required soul searching and connect with a group of characters that I'm very honoured to have become friends with over the last couple of years - I don't know what I will remember more the laughs or the waves.
All I know is a Mentawais trip with these bunch of guys on @nusantarasurfcharters is 10 out of 10 before catching a single wave.
