In Bukittinggi also has breat wall. We can see beautifull view as long as we walk in this great wall.

Puncak Lawang, the best paragliding places in southeast asia.
Sport kite flying start in Puncak Lawang, Matur, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Paragliding sport is held in Puncak Lawang is located at an altitude of 1210 m above sea level (asl). This place is one of the flying tourist attraction visited by many tourists, both domestic (local) and foreign.
Each year, local governments always held a competition sport kite flying in the area. For lovers of sport kite flying, these activities would need to be scheduled to follow. In the contests that have been held before, participants who followed the race came not only from various regions in Indonesia, but also abroad.
Because the place that is above the height of the natural scenery of Lake Maninjau in the valley is breathtaking, the area of Puncak Lawang used as the location where the start (take off) Paragliding sport. Thus the pilot, as he hovered in the air, can see the beauty of Lake Maninjau.
Locations in the start of the level of 1210 m above sea level or just above the hills that surround Lake Maninjau makes this place challenging sports enthusiasts kite flying. With that height, the pilot can linger in the air while enjoying the beautiful panorama of Lake Maninjau. Beautiful scenery presented as a blend of natural green vast stretches of mountains that surround the lake with a green sheen of water, the vast stretches of paddy field, and township residents who regularly made the main attraction is pity to miss.
*** MANINJAU LAKE
Maninjau Lake is the beautifull place. The Maninjau caldera was formed by a volcanic eruption estimated to have occurred around 52,000 years ago. Deposits from the eruption have been found in a radial distribution around Maninjau extending up to 50 km to the east, 75 km to the southeast, and west to the present coastline. The deposits are estimated to be distributed over 8500 km² and have a volume of 220–250 km³. The caldera has a length of 20 km and a width of 8 km.

In this City we could visit 2 place that very beautiful view ;
1 Harau Valley
Harau Valley is situated 15 km northeast Payakumbuh, 100 to 200 meter steep granite walls shelter this 315 ha fertile valley. It is a nature and wildlife reserve, where wild goats (capriconus sumatrensis), hedgehog (proechidna bruijnii) and tigers still roam. It is a 400-meters diameter ravine with fresh air and exquisite landscape around it.
It is a paradise for cliffhanging enthusiast and that valley is frequently mentioned as an Indonesian Yosemite. The granite mountainsides soured up surrounding the valley. There is a granite cliff in 80-300 meters height. Danger cliff displayed wonderful and fascinating landscape. And as a valley, voices and screams would be echoing. There is an echo spot to produce the best echo you can get.
There are two must-visit places at Harau Valley. They are Sarasah Bunta and Aka Barayun. There are five waterfalls Sarasah Bunta and only one in Aka Barayun. The water is very fresh and cool with some little fishes living on the nature pool of waterfall. Tourism facilities are available like swimming pools, camps, cottage, mini zoo, and horse-cart. Butterfly farm is also not to be missed.
The existence of the valley had already known by the people since 1926. It is proven by a Dutch colonial monument that located at base of Sarasah Bunta waterfall. At the inscriptions of the monument displayed the signature of Dutch Resident Assistant, F. Rinner and two official from Indonesia, Tuanku Laras Datuk Kuning and Datuk Kodoh nan Hitam.
This valley has its own legend. Once upon a time, at top of the cliff there was a kingdom, and the valley was a sea. One day, the princess plunged to the sea because her royal father not given his blessing for the man she loved. The king ordered to find his daughter's body. But, until the sea was drain, her body was never found out. The sea which now became a land is known as Harau Valley.
2, Ngalau Indah Cave
Ngalau Indah Cave can be reach on the way from Bukittinggi to Payakumbuh, it has extend deep into the mountainside. The domain of thousands of bats, the main entrance is the outline of an elephant visible on its face. The pats through these caves lead out to the top of the mountain and panoramic views.
Ngalau Indah Cave is the name of a cave on the slopes of hills located in the City of Payakumbuh. Inside are stalagmites and stalactite rock formed from limestone deposition process that lasted hundreds of years. Both kinds of stone carving has a wide variety of shapes, with amazing ornaments, such as: space bedroom, chair, mosquito nets and other more. In order visitors can enjoy the scenery with the more liberal Grotto, the local government to build some support facilities, such as: lighting, roads and stairs.
