Dieng Plateau is a plateau in Central Java, Indonesia that forms the floor of the caldera complex on the Dieng Volcanic Complex. Administratively, this plateau is included in the territory of Banjarnegara Regency and Wonosobo Regency. Covers agricultural areas that have a subtropical climate with high levels of rainfall.

Kawasan konservasi Taman Wisata Alam (TWA) Pananjung Pangandaran merupakan bagian dari Kawasan Pelestarian Alam (KPA) yang mempunyai fungsi perlindungan sistem penyangga kehidupan, pengawetan keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan dan satwa, serta pemanfaatan secara lestari sumber daya alam hayati dan ekosistemnya. TWA Pananjung Pangandaran sebelumnya berstatus C***r Alam (CA) Pananjung Pangandaran kemudian berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Menteri Pertanian Nomor 170/Kpts/Um/1978 tanggal 10 Maret 1978, kawasan tersebut berubah fungsinya menjadi TWA Pananjung Pangandaran dengan luas 37,7 Ha dan telah ditetapkan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Menteri Kehutanan Nomor SK.484/Menhut-II/2010 tanggal 30 Agustus 2010 tentang Penetapan CA Pananjung Pangandaran seluas 454,615 Ha dan TWA Pananjung Pananjung Pangandaran seluas 34,321 Ha.

Pantai Batuhiu adalah sebuah kawasan destinasi wisata berbasiskan pantai yang berada di ibu kota Kabupaten Pangandaran yang merupakan salah satu pelopor destinasi wisata andalan di Kabupaten Pangandaran. Batu Hiu memiliki panorama alam yang sangat indah.
