A beautiful villa in the North of Bali, far away from the tourist hustle in the The villa itself is on two levels.

There is also a Bale Begong – a traditional gazebo, next to the swimming pool, where you can drink, or dine or just recline and take a nap, lulled into a state of calm by the palm fronds rustling in the breeze overhead and the ornamental waterfall babbling gently into the pond. The swimming pool is 60m2 and has a small kiddie pool and outside shower. On the entrance level is a lounge with satellite television and large LCD TV and a kitchen with sink, gas hob, fridge and microwave. The lounge has French doors that open onto a broad, shaded veranda (50 m2). Leading off the veranda is the master bedroom with double bed and a spacious, open-air, en-suite bathroom with toilet, shower, bath and wash hand basin. The souterrain houses the second large bedroom with large French windows opening onto the garden. It also has a double bed (Queen-size), en-suite bathroom with shower, wash hand basin and toilet. Inset in the outside wall is a small bench next to the entrance to the third bedroom. This bedroom has bunk beds and a wash hand basin. next to this room is a third separate bathroom with shower and toilet. A utilityroom with washingmachine is underneath the bale begong. All bedrooms have remote-controlled air-conditioning.

Well what can I say… it is truly a paradise nestled in the north! Pristine villa with everything you could need, excellent pool which was maintained every day. Amazing views over the landscape with a beautiful sunset view! Staff could not do enough to help and were extremely flexible with meal arrangements around our daily plans. Gede is THE BEST tour guide! He knows all the great spots to visit, where to eat and nothing is too much trouble. He’s a wealth of knowledge about the country and culture so make sure to ask him about everything. All the staff were friendly with a warm smile every single day. Marta and Agus cooked us some amazing meals and you really have to try the Balinese breakfast and the chicken sandwiches for lunch! Villa is cleaned everyday and is always spotless! Note: It is in the middle of greenery therefore there’s an abundance of nature everywhere you look! Lots of geckos on the veranda (they don’t bother you if you don’t bother them) natural paradise for all!

I honestly can’t think of anything you could do to improve the visits! The villa was spotless, maintained every day and such a high level of cleanliness which you often don’t see in 5 star hotels!…

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Tunjung. The villa itself was exactly like pictures; if not better. It was immaculately clean and had everything we could want or need for our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. With any request, they would assist in every way they could. This place truly is a hidden gem and we couldn’t recommend it enough. We had a much needed 9 days relaxing and being treated like royalty. Thank you very much to all the staff at Villa Tunjung, we will be back ! 😊 Lauren & Stephen x

We hebben met het hele gezin een uitstekende tijd gehad in de villa. Alles was zoals beschreven en het ontbrak ons aan niets. Het zwembad is geweldig en nodigt uit om te blijven hangen en op te frissen. De diensten waren uitstekend en we werden erg lekker gekookt bij alle maaltijden. Alles is vers gewinkeld en voorbereid! We zijn ook uitstekend ondersteund bij het verkennen van de omgeving. De organisatie was uitstekend. Wij komen graag terug en kunnen de villa van harte aanbevelen.

Couldn't be more grateful for my week at this beautiful villa. Such an incredible, big, open, cozy space surrounded by nature. I loved the beautiful infinity pool and lush backyard. The people working were so kind and helped me with everything I could need, and made my stay truly magical. Hope I can return with my family one day :)

Ik kan niet dankbaarder zijn voor mijn week in deze prachtige villa. Zo 'n ongelooflijke, grote, open, gezellige ruimte omgeven door de natuur. Ik hield van de prachtige infinity pool en de weelderige achtertuin. De mensen die werkten waren zo vriendelijk en hielpen me met alles wat ik nodig had, en maakten mijn verblijf echt magisch. Ik hoop dat ik op een dag met mijn familie kan terugkeren:)

Wij krijgen gelukkig zeer geregeld 5***** reviews. Deze is van gasten die vanmorgen pas zijn uitgecheckt! Dank Ilona & Mike uit Zwitserland, hopelijk zien we jullie nog eens terug!

We hebben een geweldig verblijf in de villa gehad, het is een droomplek om te ontspannen en te genieten. Alles is er wat je nodig hebt ! Agus ( huismanager ) en zijn vrouw ( kok ) zijn zeer vriendelijke , beleefde mensen. Elke dag maken ze alles schoon en maken ze een perfect ontbijt en diner voor ons. De Indonesische keuken was echt super ! Bedankt voor de gastvrijheid! We kunnen de plek aanbevelen aan iedereen die houdt van de natuur , de stilte en een vriendelijke Bali buurt . Als je graag sightseeing doet, vraag het dan aan Angus en neem contact op met de chauffeur ( Gede). Hij brengt je overal veilig naartoe.

BOOM!

De 1e week van 2024 hebben we geblokt voor onderhoud. Al het houtwerk opnieuw geschilderd en Villa Tunjung, Bali is weer helemaal klaar om het nieuwe gasten naar de zin te maken en mooie herinneringen te geven. Morgen komen de eerste gasten van dit jaar en tot half maart wisselen nieuwe gasten elkaar sowieso steeds af.

Wij verbleven 11 nachten in dit prachtige huis. Weg van het massatoerisme is het perfect om te ontspannen en te genieten van de schoonheid van het eiland. Het huis, het zwembad, de tuin en de mensen zijn gewoon geweldig. We gebruikten constant de scooter die beschikbaar was. We kregen erg lekker eten en ook over de zeer betrouwbare maar gereserveerde verzorging waren we meer dan tevreden. Als je de huurprijs combineert met de voordelen van het huis, zoals scooters, maaltijden en al het andere, blijft er een onverslaanbare prijs-prestatieverhouding over. Bedankt voor alles Agus en team!
PS: als je op zoek bent naar winkelen, uitgaan en niet van het geluid van hanen houdt om 6 uur 's ochtends, dan is dit de verkeerde plek. Dit is de plek om naartoe te gaan op Bali. De nabijheid van de heilige warmwaterbronnen is ook geweldig.

'Beautiful accommodation with great people. Kadek (host) and his wife are magical hosts, they were very eager for our well-being and always responded quickly. Gede (driver) was very courteous and drove us for long distances safely. The conversations with him during the car trips were always pleasant and interesting. Everyone told us a lot about their culture and surroundings. The place was beautiful and private. It was super clean and homely. You have a lot of space, a nice garden and a large pool. If you have any questions, we were always able to write a message to Kadek who responded reliably and quickly. We can absolutely recommend this property and look forward to stopping you again on our next Bali trip. Thank you for the wonderful time at your placle.'

Omdat we het te druk hadden met gasten naar de zin te maken, hebben we al een tijdje geen recensies geplaatst, hoewel we veel 5***** reviews ontvingen. Met de feestdagen in aantocht en wat vrije dagen vanwege onderhoud zullen we de komende dagen weer wat ontvangen reviews plaatsen, te beginnen met die van Daniel die in december 10 dagen onze gast was ....

FIVE STARS from DANIEL
Thank you to all of the staff that made our long stay so incredibly enjoyable and relaxing. The villa was exactly like the photos and we really really enjoyed our time there. The lizards, bugs and flying critters became our friends after just a day or two. Hey, you're in their area afterall 🤷‍♂️. Speaking of which, beautiful butterflies and dragonflies were around all day, everyday. The gentle sound of the running water from the pool fountains really contributed to the relaxed feeling you got when outside the villa (at any location in the wrap around garden, which was beautiful by the way!). If you want to make some incredible memories with the kindest people you'll ever meet then we really recommend you stay here. One of many highlights was having a couples massage by our pool, they both came to the villa and we couldn't believe the price! It was too low so we tipped, a lot! They were great people too 😊 Just book it already!

Im Februar habe ich mit einer Freundin eine wundervolle Woche in Villa Tunjung verbracht. Wir wurden vom Fahrer Gede pünktlich am Flughafen abgeholt und fuhren dann Richtung Norden. Bei unserer Ankunft in der Villa wurden wir herzlich empfangen von Agus. Die Villa mit grossem Garten und Pool waren sehr gut gepflegt und luden zum entspannen ein. In der Villa gab es eine Liste mit verschiedenen Gerichten, welche der Koch uns empfehlen konnte. Wir haben diese Möglichkeit genutzt und vor allem Balinesische Gerichte angefragt und jede einzelne Mahlzeit war köstlich. Jeden Tag wurde auch immer diskret aufgeräumt und geputzt. Zusätzlich bekamen wir vom Host eine Liste von Aktivitäten in der Nähe, wovon wir auch gebrauch gemacht haben. Wir haben diese Woche in vollen Zügen genossen und würden jederzeit wieder Zeit in der Villa Tunjung verbringen.

Vi har spenderat en hel månad i detta underbara hus. Vi har älskar varje sekund av det!!
Några som är ännu mer underbara är människorna vi haft turen att ha runt omkring oss. Agus har varit våran husvärd & gjort våran vistelse fantastisk. Otroligt vänlig & hjälpsam med allt från vardagliga saker till att ta fram aktiviteter & sevärdheter.
Våran k**k Julie har lagat den mest fantastiska maten åt oss, som är bättre än restaurangerna du hittar här.
Våran chaufför Gede har förgyllt alla våra dagar här. Våra barns absoluta favorit. Varje dag när vi skulle iväg någonstans satt dem vid porten till huset & undrade när Gede skulle dyka upp

Alla vi mött på denna resa har bemött oss med värme & vänlighet.

We blocked 1st half of April to do some maintenance on the outdoor master bathroom with fresh paint. Tomorrow we resume receiving new guests, with many more to come in the next couple of months, for which we are very grateful and blessed ! 🙏🏼

Villa Tunjung is tucked away on a hillside in the village of Rangdu, in the heart of North Bali.
