“Happiness is ... the sun setting over a beach.”
Matan Island, located 16 km southwest of the city of Sorong. It's only about 5000 square meters or half a hectare and settled 8 miles west of Sorong City. One of hundreds of islands in the Salawati archipelago. It can be reached by outboard motorboat transportation. The underwater coral reefs on Matan Island are beautiful and unspoiled. The water on the beach is clear blue. Visitors can also dive along the coastline while watching the clusters of various kinds of pristine coral reefs with thousands of enchanting marine life. Every day almost 3 to 5 boats transport some people from Sorong to go picnic while fishing, because the waters around the island are famous for its many fish -especially grouper and red snapper.

Ransiwor, a tiny pile of jungle covered, craggy limestone that sits between the island of Kri and Mansuar, Raja Ampat. My favorite moment is to enjoy sunset from those beautiful sandbank. #rajaampatisland #kriisland #Ransiwor #MansuarIsland #chezlespapous
Sawandarek is one of the few dive sites in Raja Ampt where you don’t have strong current. It is more relax, more quiet but it doesn’t mean there is nothing to see! It is always full of fishes not like other places where there is no current. At the bottom on the wonderful cabbage coral there are always many sweetlips gathering and garden eels on the side. On the way up you will find schools of barracudas and jackfishes. This is also one of the few places that the divers will see turtles.

Can you imagine 1,500 islands with only around 50,000 people? This means a lot of empty space, pristine nature, and stretches of empty beaches. At certain times of the year you might be the only tourists in some areas.
The largest concentration of people is in Kota Waisai and even here there are only around 8,500 people.
We don’t need object, we need adventures !!
