Due to the recent crater activity, it is now decided that all hiking can only start by 4 am and therefore we cannot go inside the crater for the blue fire. This happen occasionally in Ijen where the blue fire is closed to public.
Other than the blue fire, all condition in ijen remains the same. We can still go to the sunrise point and see the beautiful Ijen crater lake.

Mount Semeru spewed hot clouds on Sunday (4/12/22) at 02.46 AM. Local Time. The Operations Control Center (Pusdalops) of Lumajang District Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) noted that residents had evacuated themselves at several locations.

"Currently, there is no impact (on Mt. Bromo tourism) because the direction of the hot clouds is towards the southeast," the national park's Head of Data, Evaluation, and Public Relations Sarif Hidayat told ANTARA here on Sunday.
