This fairly unknown sight, also named Coban Sewu is not on the usual Java Route so you will probably be one of the few people here. Komodo dragons (Varanus Komodoensisare) the largest living lizards in the world. Members of the monitor family, Komodo dragons are the largest and most lethal lizards on earth. Adults regularly live up to 50 years and reach more than 10 feet in length. Only in 2009 did researchers discover that the dragons are venomous; it was previously thought that the high level of bacteria in the mouth was the primary cause of deaths after a bite. In 1991 the Komodo National Park was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site to protect the fragile environment and endangered Komodo dragon population.
Biologists estimate that less than 5,000 Komodo Dragons exist in the wild; around 1,300 are thought to live on Rinca Island. Komodo Dragons are known to exist only in five places in East Nusa Tenggara: Gili Motang, Gili Dasami, Komodo, Rinca, and in Flores.

Suluban Beach is one of Bali's most unique coasts, concealed by natural limestone formations and accessed via steps and log ramps through narrow gaps in the rock. Canopied by a looming cliff face, this small beach may not be ideal for sunbathers, but serves pro surfers well as a base to paddle out and ride adjacent reef breaks, including around Uluwatu, just to the south. Nicknamed 'Blue Point', Suluban Beach lies at the end of Jalan Mamo in the coastal area of Labuan Sait, the same locality shared by famous surf spots Padang Padang and Uluwatu. Unless you're staying at any of the villas that have recently popped up here (the likes of Blue Point Bay Villas).
