Epic finding! Amazing blue ring octopus

Consider you’ve hit the jackpot if you come across these dangerous little creatures while diving. They are not easy to find, and be careful if you find it. They are one of the world’s most venomous marine animals.

They can be identified by their yellowish skin and characteristic blue and black rings that can change color dramatically when the animal is threatened. They eat small crustaceans, including crabs, hermit crabs, shrimp, and other small sea animals.

Despite their small size—12 to 20 cm (5 to 8 in)—and relatively docile nature, they are very dangerous if provoked when handled because their venom contains a powerful neurotoxin called tetrodotoxin.

Spotted Garden Eel. Whitish with dense covering of small black blotch over gill opening and another on back. Form large colonies on sandy bottoms.

Finding interesting creatures on sandy bottoms, hidden on the sea fan or spotted lurking behind the corrals is part of the fun.

A seahorse, small marine fish having a head and neck suggestive of a horse. Seahorses also feature segmented bony armour, an upright posture and a curled prehensile tail.

They live in sheltered areas such as seagrass beds, estuaries, corral reefs and mangroves.
