Pramuka is an excellent guide who knows the Baliem and surrounding area very well. He knows both the trails and the people along the route and is able to organize sleeping arrangements during the trek. He is also a great cook. Having used his guiding services myself, I highly recommend him.
Please note that Pramuka does not speak much English (though he understands basic logistics-centered vocabulary). It is best if you speak some very basic Indonesian. Or you could just google-translate your SMS.

Fuji is a long-time Japanese expat living in Wamena. He speaks English, has access to internet and has a wealth of knowledge about the local area. While Fuji is a great source of information and is always keen to help connect travelers to local guides, note that tourism is not his job, so please respect his time if you decide to contact him. ;)
