🌳 ViaVia Jogja family finally made it to Totogan Village, Kebumen. 🌱✨

As a a symbol of 1.750 trees planting project, 14 staff from all ViaVia Jogja units planted 100 sengon trees (Albizia chinensison) in the land of a T4T farmer partner, Mr Nurismanto.

Out of the 1750 trees planted this year, 1650 have already been planted by T4T farmer partners around Totogan Village.

A heartfelt thanks to our incredible guests and communities for choosing ViaVia services and products; you’re not just customers; you’re the composers of this lush harmony. Your support fuels our commitment to sustainability.

A special shoutout to T4T, our partner on this green journey for 10 years. Together, we weave a tapestry of change, one tree at a time.

Following UNESCO and GIZ program on sustainable tourism, we facilitate a blended learning workshop for selected homestay owners, youth guides, and skilled artisans.
It aims to enhance and expand participants’ knowledge on sustainable tourism. The topics and materials in this two-day in situ training were adapted from the topics in ATINGI, an independent learning platform developed by GIZ. Atingi Platform provides UNESCO corner which is accessible for the homestay owners, youth guides, and skilled artisans. The topic varies from sustainable tourism, safe working condition, communication skill, to pricing and promotion.
On the second day, we explored Borobudur Temple, then a visit and sharing session at and two of UNESCO’s beneficiaries for homestay owners.
We gain so much knowledge!
