We’ve gotten off to a wonderful start for our May Term of Roots & Shoots over the last 2 weeks! Even Mini wanted to get involved 😍

We made offerings and sent good intentions to the fairies 🧚‍♀️

Lots of swinging and clay play! Painting with spices and We made faces out of willow, leaves and sticks 🍃

This weeks the low rope was a big hit with the older children! Holding on a swinging

We heard the beautiful sounds of the birds and out wind chimes

We explored the surrounding area and soaked up all the peaceful sounds.

It’s so amazing to see the friendships between the children blossoming every week🌸🌸

Week 4 of Roots&Shoots!

We had loads of fun using red clay and tumeric to paint slates! &Crafting with pine cones and yarn!

Lots of turn taking on the swings and exploring the woods more!

And more of the shelter building!! It’s really coming along 😍🌼

We heard music from the wind chimes 🎵

We also had 2 new visitors this morning! Our lambs born on Easter Saturday introduced themselves to the group 🐑

Weeks 2&3 of Roots and Shoots 🌸

Parents and Toddlers enjoyed lots of Sand and Mud play! Making stick people and hedgehogs!!

We also floated walnuts in the stream!

The swings are a big hit with the littles!
Even making some out of tree!

A progress piece: Our Willow shelter, started on week 1 is really starting to come to shape ⛺️

Lots of friendships being formed 🥰

We got off to a Wet and Wonderful start to our Root&Shoots Parent and Toddler Group this morning! ☔️🌧️
We had lots of fun playing on swings
Making fairy wands 🪄
Exploring the forest & playing a size/colour sorting game 🌱
We finished by reading “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” 🐛while our own very hungry caterpillars also enjoyed a little snack after all their playing!! 🍌🍊
