The best of the west☘️

This is my 4th year hosting an epic ‘off the tourist trail’ adventure for the super fun & inspirational Ottsworld Travel and Life Experiences

With 7 other adventurers, we spent a week packed full of local immersive experiences & exploring my favourite playgrounds. A big thanks to this amazing group of individuals, the positive energy, great conversations & openness to stretch out of their comfort zone made this week a trip of a lifetime👌🙏

Getting to know all the family😄

It was such a fun week exploring the west of Ireland with the Ford family☘️ They were 101% up for adventure and taking the path less traveled as well as getting into the sea at every occasion👌 In the past 2 years, I’ve been lucky to take out on tour lots of their cousins, extended family and friends😄 I’m so grateful to be part of their family vacation, share my local playground and I’m looking forward to meeting more of the family☘️☘️☘️

It’s that time of year again!

After a very adventurous winter travelling, racing & exploring, from South Africa to Spain, Croatia, Austria, France, Italy, Belize, Chile and Argentina, I’m feeling so excited to start my first tour of the season with Rachel’s Irish Adventures. For me winter time is about recharging the batteries, exploring the world, spending as many hours as possible outdoors and also planning out private bespoke tours for the upcoming season with Rachel's Irish Adventures.

My winter wandering is off to a good start, a road trip through France, Germany, Slovenia, a week playing in Austria and we're now just about to start a trail running tour with our friends from 🏃🏻‍♀️😎

Cathy & Nancy lived together in University back in the 70's & decided to have a reunion in Ireland and bring along their husbands. What an epic way to reunite & create more lifetime memories👌

What a fun day out exploring North Mayo with this fabulous family from New York.

We hiked the beautiful trail around Kilcommon, took in the breathtaking views at DownPatrick head, strolled on Lacken strand, discovered the fairy trail in Belleek woods & enjoyed a scenic picnic at Rosserk Abbey👌

The afternoon was finished off at Brigown B&B with a Whiskey Appreciation Session and a baking experience in Marjorie's kitchen🍰🥃

What a magical week with Betsy & Eddie🍀 We started off in Cavan, then it was up to Belfast for the Black Taxi Tour and exploring the beautiful causeway coast. We traveled through Donegal and Sligo tasting all the culinary delights along the way, the Irish coffee was the winner😉 A few nights based at my Mam's B&B in Ballina, baking in the kitchen, appreciating a few Irish whiskey and exploring the rugged coastline of North Mayo. They both certainly got their daily steps in🏃🏻‍♀️ We finished off with a night on Achill island and Westport where once again the weather fairies were on our side to make the most of this stunning corner of the world. A massive thanks to Betsy & Eddie for choosing Rachel's Irish Adventures and for their positive energy & adventurous spirit, I feel so grateful to have shared this week with you both🙏

Pure craic for 10days!!

We started in Galway and made our way north along the Wild Atlantic Way, visiting islands, soaking in the culture, sampling the culinary delights & sometimes deservingly overindulging on beer. We hit Ireland's most northerly point Malin Head, took a ferry into Northern Ireland to explore the causeway coast & immerse more in the Irish culture during a Belfast Black Taxi tour.

What a top class week with these 3 super fun couples from Missouri.

From Di**le to the Cliffs of Moher, then making our way up to explore County Mayo and Galway. We cycled, hiked, learned how to bake scones, appreciated lots of Irish whiskey & experienced Irish live music & pub life. The Irish heatwave was 'real' so we added in a daily dip in the sea or lake and so many 99's😎🍦
