The Granary House sits right on the shores of Lough Arrow with the lake waters lapping the bottom of our mature garden. Anyone that knows the lake will already know that it is one of Ireland’s finest Trout fishing lakes with fisherman coming from far and wide for game fishing with stocks of brown trout, perch, roach, stickleback, pike, rudd, bream and eel all available. During May the lake is abu
ndant with Mayfly and the fishing that goes with
Fishermen have been coming for game fishing to Sligo for as long as we can remember and for over 20 years we have been hosting fishermen in the adjacent Lough Arrow Cottage. The Granary House newly rebuilt offers modern self catering accommodation with all mod cons, a well equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, cosy TV snug, ensuite bedrooms and one of the finest outdoor terraces you will ever find. After a long day fishing its the perfect spot to relax and take in the sensational views. The Granary House and garden is a place for making gorgeous memories, its a truly magical place.
