Neven recently visited Linnane's Lobster Bar while filming for his upcoming series. The oysters we're taken straight from the our tanks and eaten on the pier, it doesn't get any fresher than that! 🦪

Now stocking . These beautiful Flaggy Shore Dainty Oysters are a smaller size shell but pack a lot of flavour.
Upon harvesting and up until dispatch, the oysters are kept in holding tanks between three bays, located by the New Quay Pier.
The oysters themselves have a crisp, fresh taste, pop on down and give them a taste for yourself 🦪

The team had the opportunity to team up with to bring you a true taste of Galway Bay 👌🏻

A sweet, velvety oatmeal stout which was finished with over 30 kg of Dainty Oysters late in the boil to add some of that delicious umami flavour.

Best oyster tour, and we did few! David is not just knowledgeable, but also does great storytelling, shared amazing recipes and was very attentive to us!

My husband, who refused to eat oysters until the tour finally was converted!!!

Tours will begin on the 8th of June and will run on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 12pm.

This day - Feb 9th, 35 years ago, a young enthusiastic , red haired Gerry, aka Hoppy landed into this building on New Quay Pier.
A lot has happened in 35 years and live shellfish and crustaceans have winged their way to destinations all over the world from the premises ( and most of it paid for!) For the last 7 years Ciara and sometimes Lorcan has worked with Gerry, launched Flaggy Shore Oysters and shuck off oyster tours.

Today - Feb 9th, we, Gerry and Ciara depart from the red building on the pier, hand over the keys to the new owners and ride off into the a galway Bay sunset.

We are delighted to say Flaggy Shore Oysters will be continuing under new ownership as of next week. The farmers are still farming the oysters and the new owners will be shipping them, happy to complete all your oyster needs!

Thank you to all the amazing chefs, customers , colleagues, and friends that have supported and bought from us over the years, visited us for Shuck off oyster tours , tried their first oyster and came back for many more at the various festivals we wangled our way into!
