❄️𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 = 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘀, 𝗣𝗶𝗽𝗲𝘀 & 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁❄️

With the threat of freezing weather looming, and developing over a number of days we recommend that you consider draining down water pipes, wash down pumps, hoses, pumps, taps, water troughs, etc,WHICH ARE NOT IN USE. Do this as soon as possible, but be safe. Don't leave water lying on the ground as this will freeze and become a hazard.

Bring some form of heat into your pumphouse, such as a frost watcher, and make sure it is working. Make sure your piping is lagged, and taps are covered and protected from frost.

With your 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝘂𝗺𝗽, 𝗩𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 and 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 make sure that these are protected from frost, allow circulation of air around the motor, especially the fan of deep and shallow well pumps. Bring in a low, safe heat into where these are located.

🥶 𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙯𝙚𝙣 𝙥𝙞𝙥𝙚𝙨 gradually thaw these but very slowly, with low heat.
