"Thank you Majella & Michael for the blissfully peaceful stay at your stone courtyard cottage. The location, near Kilkenny (Culture & Potteries!) was perfect for my stay over the May Bank Holiday weekend. Travelling solo, I wanted something private but safe and I found it here. The cottage was part of a courtyard alongside the hosts house, the gates were electronically operated with a fob, parking was safe & secure outside the cottage.

Majella & Michael thoughtfully left a breakfast hamper for the morning & had the stove lit (so welcoming) as it was late when I arrived. Small details of care for the guest were everywhere. (Emergency torches, hi-viz vests for walks, dog leads!) Loads of books, huge TV & a piano downstairs. Lots of kitchen appliances available. Big comfy bed and a cast iron tub with electric shower upstairs under the rafters. I would highly recommend this peaceful rural setting for a getaway."
