Carrick Business Campus offers contemporary, flexible, high-spec, turnkey office accommodation strategically positioned for the growth of businesses. Currently accommodating businesses such as Avant Money as the longstanding Anchor Tenants, MGC Derma (a leading skincare company), Payac (offering financial services to the credit union sector), and Image Skillnet (providing tailored training to the hair and beauty sector), the Business Campus stands as a testament to versatility and entrepreneurship.
As Emer Connolly, Senior Executive Officer, Economic Development Leitrim County Council, outlined, because of its positioning and the wealth of talent in the region, Carrick Campus will support and sustain job creation and growth, entrepreneurship and innovation not just for Leitrim but also the wider region, ultimately helping to establish a “vibrant enterprise hub” at the Campus.
"Over the last quarter-century, Leitrim County Council (Leitrim County Council) has implemented a comprehensive strategy, fostering the transformation of Carrick-on-Shannon and Leitrim into a premier destination to live, work and visit.
“The county is definitely on an upward trend and according to a recent nationwide survey by business utility consultants Procure.ie, Leitrim was determined the best County to start a business in. The survey considered factors like population, average rent and salary, and jobs per capita.”
Carrick Campus, formerly home to MBNA, underwent some minor refurbishment works earlier in 2023, in advance of the new clients taking occupancy. This resulted in the availability of flexible office accommodation, some of which remains available for immediate vacancy. Substantial refurbishment works are to commence in Phase 2 of the building in mid 2024. These works will include a major energy retrofit of the building and will transform the refurbished space into a versatile, prestigious, state of the art business hub.

Currently housing businesses such as Avant and MGC Derma, Payac (offering financial services to the credit union sector), and Image Skillnet (providing tailored training to the hair and beauty sector), the business park stands as a testament to versatility and entrepreneurship.
As Seamus Newcombe, CEO of Payac, Carrick-on-Shannon and Carrick Campus was their preferred location “because there is a huge pool of very talented and experienced staff particularly in the payment and financial services industry.”
Carrick Campus has provided Payac with all the state-of-the-art facilities that a dynamic business such as theirs needs. Equally, its location in Leitrim puts it within striking distance of Dublin, Galway and the North.
As Seamus explains, “from a work life perspective, Carrick is a very welcoming growing town, the population in the hinterland of the town has doubled in the last 25 years.”
Ultimately, Carrick is a very hospitable and inclusive town and as Seamus says, it’s an ideal place to live, work and raise a family.
