𝟏𝟕𝟔 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧
Due to the closure of the R212 between Scotshouse and Clones, the 176 service will not be able to travel to the bus stop in Scotshouse from Monday the 17th of June for approximately two weeks.
A shuttle bus will be in operation when the roadworks start and will take passengers from Scotshouse to meet the 176 service in Newbliss & Ballyhaise, the shuttle will return with passengers from these stops to Scotshouse.
The Shuttle bus times can be viewed on the temporary Shuttle Bus Timetable attached to this post or contact the office on 047 51840 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm for more information.

Due to the Armagh V Donegal Football Senior Championship Final taking place in Clones this Sunday the 12th May, the 176 bus will not stop at its normal bus stop (Clones Cark Park) at 12:18, 14:07, 15:18, 16:37 or 18:33

Passengers will be picked up & dropped off at the 𝑨𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆𝒕 stop at the following times:

🏐 14:07
🏐 15:18
🏐 16:37
🏐 18:33

The service will call to the Car Park Stop at all other times.

Passengers will be picked up & dropped off on Abbey Street, behind the Lennard Arms Hotel at 16:40, 17:03, 18:18, 18:32 the bus will call to the Car Park Stop at all other times.

👉 Due to St. Patrick’s parades, the following services will be diverted or suspended for a time, all other services will operate to their normal timetables.

🚌 176 service will not call to Clones at the following times 18:32, 18:18, 19:52 & 20:13 the service will travel direct between Newbliss and Scotshouse at the times indicated.

𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵
🚌 C2 service will not call to Kilnaleck at the following times 15:18, 15:20, 17:33 restarting at 17:50
🚌 M1 service suspended from 13:27 restarting at 17:00 from Knockatallon.
🚌 M2 service suspended from 14:00 restarting at 17:30 from Castleblayney. Access to stops in Ballybay will not be possible during the St. Patricks’ day Parade which starts at 17:00
🚌 M3 service suspended from 13:00 restarting at 17:30 from Latlorcan.
🚌 171 service expect delays due to traffic congestion in Carrickmacross and Dundalk the service will not be able to call to Park St. Dundalk from 13:00.
🚌 176 service suspended from 12:56 restarting at 18:00 from Monaghan Bus Station
🚌 929 service suspended from 12:00 starting at 14:45 from Corlough

🚌 All daily bus services will be running to their bank holiday schedule.

Due to a large fallen tree on the school avenue, blocking access to the school grounds, Monaghan Collegiate School will remain closed tomorrow.

Exams scheduled to take place tomorrow will be moved to Monday 29th January.

The School Transport Family Portal is now open for new School Transport applications for the upcoming school year 2023/24 for new customers to the school transport scheme.
Existing customers who may have changed their attending school or home address in the past year are requested to check their applications for 23/24 to ensure they are accurate and up to date.
First time users will need to create an online Family Portal account. Returning Account Holders adding a new pupil can proceed straight to the login page.

Driver wanted.

A driving position has become available on our local link 176 service .
The 176 route starts and finishes in Monaghan town.
This route operates 365 days of the year except Christmas Day and st Stephen’s day.
Rota will consist of working 12 hour shifts , four days on then four days off consecutively.
Your rota will include weekend shifts when scheduled.
Experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
Top rates paid Monday to Friday with bonuses for working a Saturday or a Sunday .
Must have a relevant D licence with Cpc’s up to date along with a digi card.
Garda vetting will be required.

A position is available for a car es**rt to es**rt a child to and from school during term time. Need to be available from 7.45am-9.15 and 3.30pm- 5pm approx each trip will be starting and finishing in clones.
Full Garda vetting required.
Would need to be reliable and punctual.

Employment will be with Cavan/Monaghan ETB.

Good news, the 176 service will return to its normal scheduled route, via Clones from tomorrow Saturday the 22nd of October 2022.

The shuttle bus will cease operation this evening Friday the 21st of October 2022.
