SHOP LOCAL AND WIN A €200 VOUCHER

Shopping for Christmas Presents in Cashel this weekend? If you spend €100 or more in any shop, save your receipt, sign it, add your phone number, take a picture with yiour smart phone and send the image to [email protected] You will then be enterd into a darw for a €200 shopping voucher to be used in Cashel. This is a joint initiative from Tipperary County Council and the Cashel Chamber. The scheme runs for purchases made in Cashel until 31st of December. One reciept per shop , but you can submit receipts from multiple shops.

Registrations for the Power Up grant are open from today, with the aim of getting payments out to shops, small restaurants, cafés, and pubs before the end of the year.

Eligible retail and hospitality businesses that received the second ICOB payment can register for the €4,000 one-off Power Up grant, once they receive their email from their Local Authority.

This grant is similar to the ICOB scheme, and the registration process has been designed to be quick and easy. The scheme is being administered by the Local Authority network on behalf of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

"We are running an introduction to basic Irish Sign Language classes at Spafield FRC in Cashel, free of charge, for 8 weeks, starting this Tuesday from 4 pm to 5 pm and continuing each Tuesday through to December.

Places are very limited.

UPDATE

BRINGING BACK THE CASHEL ST. PATRICK’S PARADE 2025

Great turnout and a lively discussion at Brosnan’s last night. Looking good for 2025 with a whole bunch of passionate people, ready to get stuck in and make it all happen .

Next meeting is on 23rd of October (8pm in Brosnan’s) when the Working- Subgroups will be formed and more details of the 2025 event will be released.

Everyone welcome on Wednesday 23rd October.
