Congratulations to Rory McIlroy as he finishes top of the DP World Tour rankings for a 4th Time! 🎉🏆🥇

Rory McIlroy has been crowned DP World Tour number one for a fourth time after finishing in a tie for fourth at the season-ending DP World Tour Championship.

The 33-year-old becomes just the second player to win the Road to Dubai title and the FedEx Cup in the same season.

McIlroy carded a final-round 68 at the Jumeirah Golf Estates course to finish on 16-under, four shots behind the event winner Jon Rahm, who won the tournament for a third time after previous triumphs in 2017 and 2019.

Often called the ‘St. Andrews of Ireland’, the sublime links at Lahinch reflects an evolution in golf architecture. Alister MacKenzie remodeled it in the 1920s, leaving a few of Old Tom Morris' original holes – the Klondyke par-5 fourth and Dell par-3 fifth, both with hidden greens.

In the 1980s, Donald Steel altered some of MacKenzie's holes and in the 2000s Martin Hawtree rebuilt everything and added four new holes. It has formerly hosted the Irish Open; is often a much sought-after course for our bucket-list clients; and they are never disappointed!

What a weekend of golf at the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open and such a joy to have fans back on the course 🏌️ ☘️🥁
Congratulations to 2021 winner Lucas Herbert on his wire-to-wire victory. He shot a 4-under 68 in the final round to win by three strokes and also secure a place at The Open Championship.

It was Herbert’s second title on the European Tour, after the Dubai Desert Classic in January 2020.
