Hi folks just letting you all know that I am running Teen Summer Drawing Classes in Artforms Studio, Tullow Road, Carlow on the following dates:
Wed 19th/ Thur 20th/ Fri 21st and/or Wed 26th/ Thur 27th/ Fri 28th July from 2-5pm daily. Course of three afternoons is €90 including all materials. This is a fun and creative course to improve drawing skills, observation skills and techniques. Suitable for ages 13-17 years. Students must bring their own snacks and drinks. Meditation and Healing Art Workshop with Artist Mary Cassidy in Artforms Studio on Saturday 25th March.
This wonderful workshop runs from 10am to 4pm and costs €125 which includes all materials and equipment except canvases (which can be purchased in Studio) and a delicious vegetarian lunch plus homemade scones, tea and coffee.
This is an ideal " get away from it all ME DAY" - attend on your own or bring a friend - places are limited so booking early is advisable. No painting experience necessary as all tuition will be given. Last couple of days of the Artforms Studio Artists Exhibition in aid of the R.N.L. I. - Royal National Lifeboats Institution - pop in to The Atrium in The Shamrock Plaza and support our great cause by either buying a lovely painting (10% of sale price goes towards fundraiser), bring the children to Paint-A-Holly for €2 and have a chance to win some nice spot prizes, buy raffle tickets and be in with a chance to win some fantastic Christmas hampers or purchase some really lovely R.N. L.I. gifts and memorabilia- Christmas cards, crackers, jigsaws, hats, toys, shopping bags etc.. hurry now as expo closes 2pm Friday!!

You are cordially invited to the exhibition opening this Saturday evening 3rd December at 7pm in The Atrium of The Shamrock Plaza - come and join myself and my wonderful art students for their first ever Mary Cassidy Artforms Studio Artists Christmas Exhibition in aid of the R.N.L.I. Royal National Lifeboats Institution - who do such wonderful work, volunteering to save the lives of others. During our exhibition we have several opportunities for you to help us raise much needed funds: by buying a painting 10% of the sale price goes towards the fundraiser, we will have a fantastic raffle of Christmas Hampers (the raffle runs for the week of the exhibition until 2pm Fri 9th Dec), Paint-A-Holly : big and small people get to pay €2 for each holly sprig painted onto a large canvas - great fun ! plus you could win a prize if your numbered holly gets drawn! Finally the R.N.L.I. will have lots of lovely gifts for sale such as Christmas cards, jigsaws etc.. so do come to the exhibition- there is something for everyone!!
