New episode of Amplify Archaeology Podcast!

An elegant historic house, once owned by the famous Guinness Family, proudly stood in part of what is now known as St Anne’s Park. The building was destroyed by fire in the 1940s, before being completely demolished in the 1960s.

However, a dynamic community archaeology project has been underway to help to uncover its story. The dig includes members of the local community who work alongside experienced archaeologists.

Excavation director James Kyle tells us all about it in our latest episode of Amplify Archaeology Podcast!

You can find Amplify Archaeology on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Audible, and all the usual places. As well as on our website where you can also find shownotes and links here:

Fancy an epic ??

The Cliffs of Moher, with their staggered ledges towering over Atlantic waves, have become emblematic of Ireland. The scale of the cliffs is hard to fathom in-person. Rain that has crossed thousands of miles on open ocean meets rock here, carving the crags as they collide.

Our Cliffs of Moher audio guide, produced for Aran Island Ferries, explores the land and sea on the edge of Co Clare and highlights the wonders of the Burren and the beauty of the Aran Islands.
