Discover Your Trail in Wicklow
Discover Your Trail in Wicklow
Throughout the course of the Wicklow Trails Heritage Recording Project we were privileged to work in this incredible landscape. The scenery and the words of Thomas Moore inspired us to make this short video. I hope you enjoy it.

We had a great time on Saturday at the Our Wicklow Heritage seminar. There was some really interesting presentations and discussions on themes like exploring creative ways of communicating heritage information, and community based actions for interpreting and promoting our towns, villages and places of interest, and we presented the results of the Wicklow Trails Heritage Recording Project with Wicklow County Council and Wicklow Uplands Council.

Rathfarnham Castle
We visited Rathfarnham Castle this afternoon. A really fascinating place and there is a wonderful exhibition by artist Hester Heuff on at the moment. We highly recommend a visit!
Unfortunately the clouds blocked the sun but it was still special to spend the Winter Solstice at the ancient passage tomb at Knockroe, as the original community may have done over 5,000 years ago (only with lovely mince pies & mulled punch courtesy of Lingaun Valley Tourism) 😊
