🎼 NEW EVENT FOR 2024 🎼

We are thrilled to feature the Banjo this year as one of our prime instruments and with so many incredible banjo players attending the 2024 Ballydehob Tradfest a recital seemed only right.

Taking place on Saturday, 23 at 12pm, these fantastic banjo players from across Ireland will perform individually and show off their talent.

This is one event not to be missed!

🎫 SECOND CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT

We are delighted to announce our second festival concert with world famous group Goitse on Saturday, April 1st 2023 in Ballydehob Community Hall.

The popular and multi-award-winning quintet Goitse was forged in the white-hot creative crucible of Limerick’s World Academy.

The group includes Áine McGeeney (Fiddle/Vocals), Colm Phelan (Bodhran), Conal O’Kane (Guitar), Danny Collins (Piano Accordion, Keyboard) and Alan Reid (Banjo).

Goitse has released six critically acclaimed recordings and maintains a year round touring schedule that includes performances throughout Ireland and the UK, Germany, France and the United States.

Together, the quintet Goitse make what Irish Music Magazine calls ‘Music that’s brimming with energy and creative zeal.

Our spacious holiday homes and large adjacent gardens will ensure optimal comfort for your pet during your stay. In addition there is a peaceful 5km 'loop' around the holiday homes that guests can use to take their companions out for a walk through the West Cork countryside.
