Barcelona headlines stating they will close down all STR in city is illegal. The European Holiday Homes Association which represents short term rental owners across the EU has complained to the EU Commission.

The European Holiday Home Association, which represents short-term rentals on online platforms such as Airbnb, has filed a complaint with the European Commission against the Spanish region of Catalonia for allowing cities to ban such rentals.

Delighted to be taking part in the Bread and Butter Making Demonstration on Friday 15th at 2.30 in Butter Musuem Cork, as part of Cork on a Fork.

We have a host of other demos taking place throughout the festival, that are not to be missed!
From family fun events, to a photography workshop, an English market produce demo, traditional bread and butter making, sourdough and wine harvest and street food, there is something for all tastebuds. You’ll pick up some great tips and will be rushing home to try out the recipes at home!

On Friday 14th the extended Curtis family handed over the Freedom of Cork Aunty Maureen Curtis Black recieved in 1993, for her work for womens rights, to Lord Mayor Kieran McCarthy. We look forward to seeing the her Freedom of City of Cork Scroll and associated memorabilia back in the old homeplace on Grand Parade, which is now the City Library refrence room. Thanks to Kieran McCarthy for his busy year as Lord Mayor, and looking forward to seeing him back doing his walking tours in the city.

Ar an Cúl Bothar go Gougane.One of my favourite places to take visitors to Cork on a private Guided tour. Some lunch at the hotel, a walk in the churchyard or in the forest park. The source of the river Lee is in the Forest Park.
