The Croithlí distillery experience captures the essence of Donegal Gaeltacht whiskey making and the connection with the people, culture and place. Tours take place on the hour every hour from 11am – 5pm Monday to Sunday and last approximately 60 minutes.

Bat Night

Join us here in Glenveagh National Park for a bat night experience on August 9th and August 17th. Our Education Team and Conservation Rangers will lead a guided walk and talk on the Irish bat species that are here in the National Park. Both events are free of charge and times to be confirmed through email to all participants closer to event.

MFD 2023 Festival, in association with DCC, proudly presents the Gay Byrne Trails 🚶‍♀️🚴‍♂️ Launching on Fri 28th July at Gweebarra Bridge. 🌉 This trail is the first phase of a breathtaking journey through the Rosses, cherished by Gay, Kathleen, and dear friends who found endless joy strolling the hills and Atlantic Coastline. 🌄🌊

The Gay Byrne Trails offer 7 unique routes, ranging from a "soft" 14.5km walk/cycleway along the new N56 to a challenging 39km expedition along the Atlantic Coastline, showcasing the stunning Estuary, Dooey, Druimnaduid, Marameelan, Falmore, and Maghery. 🥾✨

Join us for the official launch at 12noon, where Kathleen and Family will kick off the celebration with a delightful 4.5km walk along the Gweebarra Estuary, followed by refreshing treats at McCready’s on the Green. 🥳

All walkers and cyclists are warmly invited to be a part of this memorable event. Don't forget your High Viz Vest – safety first, always! BE SAFE BE SEEN. 🔆
