Donegal is home to some enchanting waterfalls, like the magical Largy Waterfall.

Donegal's Secret Waterfall is arguably one of the most popular attractions in the last few years. It's secret location and picturesque cave & waterfall have people from all over Ireland in search of this hidden treasure on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The 'Largy Waterfall' can be found in the small village of Largy, which is around 5km from Killybegs and around 6km east of the town of Kilcar. The waterfall is found in a cave so be extremely careful when making your way there.

Carndonagh is home to award-winning artist Sharon McDaid who is regarded as an emerging talent in Irish contemporary painting. Working primarily in oil on canvas, her paintings are inspired by her native Inishowen with her distinctive works perfectly capturing the immediacy and diversity of the ever-changing light and shade of the Irish landscape.

Sharon McDaid exhibits her works in her own Silver Birch Gallery & Studio which houses three spacious exhibitions rooms that carry a body of original oils, mixed media artworks and a large collection of limited edition Giclee prints. The Silver Birch also houses Sharon's painting studio where visitors can find the artist there working on her latest collection. The gallery offers a full bespoke framing service with a large range of moulding to choose from.

Donegal Golf Club (Murvagh) has everything you want and love about Irish golf. Awesome layout, a beautiful setting and location. A tough but fair layout, pick your tees carefully as the wind can / will make several holes very challenging. Enjoy the scenic but fantastic views! Murvagh as it is commonly known is a magnificent par-73 Golf Course and is one of Ireland's finest links golf courses located in County Donegal. The golf course was designed by the master of Irish golf course architecture, Eddie Hackett. Following his designs at Connemara and Waterville Golf Links, the links at Donegal was his third such project and it was destined to be on a similarly grand scale as his two previous creations. One of the feature holes is 179 metres 5th to a plateau green with Donegal Bay in the background and no bale-out front or sides, a truly magnificent hole. With no fairway, this par 3 is certainly a challenge any day of the year. You could hit anything from an 8 iron on a a calm day to the big dog on a windy day! Configured in two loops of nine holes, Donegal Golf Links is often described as the Muirfield of Ireland. Donegal Golf Club Murvagh is a challenging course at any time, but when the wind blows it will test very best of golfers to play anything near their Handicap. There are numerous world-class links golf courses here in County Donegal, as well as a number of parkland golf courses.
