The Di**le Peninsula Cultural Calendar of Events has been awarded the 2024 ECTN Destination of Sustainable Cultural Tourism Award in the Intangible Heritage, including Festivals, for Sustainable Cultural Tourism category. Represented by Caroline Boland and Niamh O’Kennedy at Dublin Castle, this achievement celebrates the dedication behind our 32 community-led festivals and events.

With a vibrant calendar showcasing arts, music, food, fitness, language, and more, we’re proud to honour the heart and spirit of Corca Dhuibhne. This award belongs to the tireless volunteers, organisers, and local community who make it all possible. Congratulations to everyone —this is a testament to all the hard work! 🎉👏

Fantastic to have the newly refurbished Blasket Island Centre - Ionad an Bhlascaoid - open! The visitor experience, at Dun Chaoin on the Di**le Peninsula, celebrates island life, heritage and culture of the Blasket islands. After a 3 million interactive upgrade, it's well worth a visit!
