Stopped off at Teach paidí óig for something to eat, the meal was delicious , staff were so friendly and helpful &of course the Guinness was great 😊 Have a great summer season from Colin Trek and Paddle Donegal Team 🤩

Sliabh Liag… makes for a stunning drive to get to these cliffs! Mesmerising! Visit the fishing town of killybegs en route… best Caife’s/Bars/Restuarants to relax in after a long walk/ hike along the cliffs 😍

Perfect day out whilst staying with us in Ivy lane. Such a stunning crossing to this beautiful Island. Ferries run every hour. Do it! Book it! 😍

DONEGAL'S LARGEST INHABITED ISLAND!

You’ll find Arranmore (in Irish, Árainn Mhór) off the coast of County Donegal. Although it’s Donegal’s largest inhabited island the population is small, less than 500. It's part of the Gaeltacht, where Irish is the predominant language of the home. Wild and untamed, Arranmore has been inhabited since prehistoric times and the old traditions are guarded closely here.

Explore the island via its way-marked trail which will lead you from sandy beaches to the islands rocky summit. Gaze out over the Atlantic Ocean, past cliffs and rock arches to the majestic mainland mountains stretching from Glen Head to Tory Island. Visit the fort at Uilinn which dates from about 800 BC and still stands proudly on its cliff top perch. If you’re looking for a real taste of island life, then Arranmore is definitely not to be missed on your Donegal adventure. 🥰
