I'd like to say that this is a traditional Irish dresser and Irish pottery...but it's actually a New Zealand dresser made from the rare and premium Rimu timber...and even more rare is the unique Barry Doyle 14 piece setting of full dinner service....Barry was an amazing ceramics and pottery designer and maker. When I lived in New Zealand I became a friend of Barry's and also havr been the proud owner of the greatest individual collection of his work.

Good craic...he loved this house....and learned the difference between metric and imperial measures!!
We had fish for days on end!!

An amazing place...an amazing space. The best seafood restaurant on the west coast of Ireland. Vaughans of Liscannor....with their works famous cuisine. Located in the heart of the village in The Anchor Inn... this venue is a must visit for lunch or dinner.
They have a full all carte menu and I promise u that u will be seriously impressed! ....I've eaten there well over 100 times and never miss an opportunity ...also a great pub at the front..friendly locals and the fire always lit from Sept to April.

There's just something very special about Doolin. The first three times I went there...I arrived in the dark...and left in the dark!! On my 4th trip in 1992...holy moly...it was like a massive magnetic force nailed me to the ground...I was mesmerized ...entranced.....31 years later that magnetism has never wained.
I'm lucky to have such a gorgeous holiday home here...and happy to allow others to enjoy 6 months of the year...
A place of deep soul, deep silent knowledge, a respect for times past, peoples past and a strong sense of place and pride
The music. The scenery. The people. The music. The craic....the joyous nightly sessions in all the pubs...and even more music ...the Aran Islands. The Burren
