The Original Doolin Ferry Company
Bill O’Brien’s established the now iconic but once (can you imagine!) didn't exist passenger ferry service between Doolin to the Aran Islands in March 1970. Year after year as his business, family and crew grew he constantly set new standards in passenger comfort and speed. Today joined by his son Liam they provide the fastest crossing to the Aran Islands in just 15 minutes on the Doolin Express. The first boat on Irish waters to use anti-sea sickness technology.
