Here at Bramblewick House, we have GLAMPING SITE, that at the moment consists of two self contained Shepherd's Huts, that has fabulous views. We create BESPOKE WOODEN ITEMS. We try to get as any of our products onto our website: https://bramblewickhouse.com/crafts. We also have HABERDASHERY items, to help you to get creating. At the moment we have BUTTONS, CHARMS & RIBBONS, which we hope to grow over the years. We try to get as many items as possible onto our website, in the haberdashery section: https://bramblewickhouse.com/haberdashery. At the moment, we sell items at CRAFT FAIRS near our base in the midland counties of Ireland and on our website. You can also pop into our workshop, to see items available and to collect orders.

We aim to only go to Christmas Fairs this year, with our crafts. I am making some A6 (and possibly A7) notebooks. These have a textured, metalic fabric cover, with 30 pages (total 60 pages, if you're counting front and back).
Ideal as a gift idea, for someone special....or for yourself!!

Lovely visit today to Belvedere House Gardens & Park. The house is having a lot of work done so is closed for a little while BUT the grounds are HUGE, with play parks for children, miles of walks, fairy garden, a walled garden and a cafe with lots of yummy food.
Belvedere House is only 57km (35 miles) from us here at Bramblewick House, so it's a perfect day trip out.

Day off yesterday, so we went for a swim and called into Esquires Coffee Longford on the way home. They have a variety of breakfasts, sandwiches, lunches, cakes and smoothies. We had chicken goujons and chicken burger. Both absolutely delicious and the portions are huge. Definitely a place we will recommend, for tea & cake or something more substantial.

New mugs in both Shepherd's Huts (I was so tempted to keep them for ourselves!!). I just thought they are so PRETTY, I'm a sucker for pretty things.
The frog & duck solar lamps were an impulse buy, because the make me SMILE a lot. So one on each hut steps, so you can find your way home (even if it's just for a day or two) and hopefully theyll make you smile too. 🐸 🦆

Both of us have spent the week trying to get our grass under control....I think the grass is winning.🙈😁 So this afternoon we popped over to see Laura at Longford Garden Centre Clonbalt. We've bought a cherry tree for the garden AND stopped for coffee and CAKE!!☕️🍰 There is indoor and undercover outdoor seating. Drinks can be take out. An ideal short trip out for guests staying with us, as it's only approx. 10 minute drive from away.

Sundays were made for breakfast in bed (also applies to days off and holidays!!). This morning we pushed the boat out for this yummy breakfast.

Cranberry & pumpkin seed bread with peanut butter.
Greek yoghurt, strawberries, blueberries, sunflower and pumpkin seeds (roasted with a dash of soy sauce) and balsamic reduction (so easy to make and really sweet).


The garden has seemed to gone wild, so a fews days tidying the garden is required.....with appropriate supervision!! 😸

We arrived back this morning after two nights away. We went the Viking Festival at Slane Castle yesterday and bought a couple of Viking mugs that we used there. Also some hooks from a Viking Blacksmith (I need to do something special with those. Really enjoyed ourselves.

Impromptu visit to Athlone today. First time visiting FINE and thee food is so good. I had Yummus sandwich (hummus, pesto, sun-dried tomato and vintage cheddar).
Athlone is approx 50 minutes away from us here at Bramblewick House, so ideal for a day trip out.

We are posting some of our NEW NOTEBOOKS & SCRAPBOOKS, over in Bramblewick House Handmade Crafts Group. We will be taking them to the BEALTAINE FIRE FESTIVAL at Uisneach in May., which we are really looking forward to.
It includes one of my favourite scrapbooks, with an vintage dress image. It is A5, with black card pages, ideal for scrapbooking, photo album or junk journaling.

What's your Saturday Night Takeaway.
Tonight we had pizza from Pizza Hut Delivery Ireland. Now the BIG QUESTION is.....should there be PINEAPPLE on pizza? 🍍🍕 I had a half & half pizza. One half had chicken, onion, mushrooms and peppers. The other half, ham, pineapple, jalapeños and onion. Very YUMMY it was.😊

It's been a while since I've spent time in the workshop. I've discovered that I need to resin our book covers in the house, as it doesn't want to set properly in the workshop (because of fluctuating temperatures).
So I've done a few covers, which are now ready to be made into scrapbooks and notebooks.
This A5 cover will be made into a notebook and we will be taking it to the BEALTAINE FIRE FESTIVAL at Uisneach in May (which we're really looking forward to).

Our GLAMPING is now CLOSED FOR CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR. I have a couple of craft fairs at Drumcoura City (10th & 17th December, 12pm to 6pm). It's another rain day. So I'll be doing my jobs indoors today. I've got it in my head, to have a go at making a new desk.🙈😆 Luckily I have cut and planed the wood that I need (might need to do some extra trimming). Also wanted to show you a few items from crafters. If you want to call in, POP US A MESSAGE, so can make sure we are in. We have products from the following crafters: CnS Imagery, mounts and cards. Flutterby Crafts, plaques. Catch the Light, stained glass. Hazelrocks Jewellery, handcrafted jewellery.

This is our first attempt at creating a video about our books. I love the A6 books, so cute, with their heavy duty covers. The binding allows the pages to lay open flat.

I will workshop today & tomorrow (Sunday) from 10:30am until 4:30pm, if you fancy popping by for any last minute items. We have some boxes, notebooks wax melts, wax melt burners, jewellery, stained glass cards, and plaques (some of these are by fellow crafters⬇️). Our eircode is N39 FW63. You'll see our road sign out. Here at Bramblewick House, we are all about Luxury Pampering Products, that are there just when you need to treat yourself to something a little special.

Our GLAMPING SITE, at the moment consists of two self contained Shepherd's Huts, that has fabulous views. Come and enjoy a quiet and relaxing break in rural Ireland. While you're here, perhaps you'd like a one to one crafting session (crochet - any level, friendship bracelets or card making). Or you could visit historical Ireland or maybe attend an outdoor activity.
