We've got some exciting news to share that marks a significant upgrade to Unit 33-35, Artane Place, and that also pays tribute to an important chapter of this historic site. At Unit 33-35 Artane Place, we embarked on a journey to replace the old asbestos roof with a new insulated roof, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the transformation it has brought about.
But this project wasn't just about modernising a building; it also involved installing a new memorial honouring the memory of the Stardust 48. For those who may not know, the Stardust tragedy was a devastating event in our past, claiming the lives of 48 young people in a nightclub fire. Their memory always remained in our thoughts during the works as we embarked on the renovation journey. It was an honour for Harrington Environmental to be chosen and given the responsibility to install the wall cladding for the new memorial to commemorate their lives. It's a symbol of resilience, hope, and the power of a community coming together in memory of our past as a guiding light for future generations.

Some mid-work drone footage of Navan Pitch & Putt Asbestos Roof Refurb. This job requires a quick turn around to allow the club and gym to return to normal safe re-use. The mobile crane and cladboy on-site make light work of the process refurbishing the asbestos roofs. We are fitting new insulated panels which will help the club and gym save on their gas and electricity bills. When a hazardous asbestos roof has been safely removed we offer the option of turning a roof area into a giant size solar panel that will generate vast clean carbon-free solar electricity going forward. During our lunch break, the crew managed to squeeze in a game of pitch & putt and we all agreed it was an excellent and challenging course to play, with amazing scenery to take in of "The Royal County"
