We had Kay (UK) and Jan (Swe) on the tour last night. It was a nostagia trip for them. They tell me that the met on the Dublin Literary Pub Crawl way back in 2002. He first sat on a chair reserved for the actors but was asked to move to another seat. He did so and ended up sitting next to Kay from England. And that was it. They're married now for 14 years. Love stories do begin here on the DLPC. COLM

Here's what the Lonely Planet think you should do in Dublin. I met the Lonely Planet founder Tony Wheeler way back in the '90s. He came to the tour on a cold winter's night. Only about 15 ppl but he laughed all the way through. Good to have people like that standing in front of you when you are singing for your supper. Makes the gig a lot easier. Hope to see him again soon
