Hag's Head, the southernmost point of the Cliffs of Moher. The Norman tower is closed. At this time the cliff walk up to the visitor's center is also closed due to dangerous conditions as the result of erosion. There are currently plans to improve the cliff walk and make it safe for walkers. But now there is a real danger of the ground giving way. The walk from the carpark is about 1km and the views are lovely especially on a sunny winter day as we had yesterday.

First leg of the journey home. It has been many years since I flew out of Washington D.C.. The plane windows are very dirty! But you can clearly see the Washington Monument and the dome of the Jefferson Memroial at its base. Next stop Boston.

St. Anne's Church, Kew Green, London. A lovely church with a fantastic history right on Kew Green. Thomas Gainsborough lived just across the road and is buried in the Churchyard.
