A couple of months ago our Connemara pony Honey passed away, she was a gentle soul and is much missed. Since then poor Henry donkey has found being on his own hard, he was besotted with Honey from the day she arrived and followed her everywhere for 10 years. Last week we introduced Henry to Becky and her brand new foal Lexie. After a day or two of getting to know each other and learning Becky is the boss, Henry is besotted again and delighted with the new arrivals.

Natural swimming pool and garden The Visiting house

Its nice getting the chance to have a look round the garden on the visiting house changeover days. A lot of life going on in the natural swimming pool and reed bed. Lovely to see everything bursting into life this time of year.
