Hi all. I've decided to put up a post here to let friends, family and wellwishers know of my status after my recent health scare. After some investigation, some issues were found in my heart resulting in a triple bypass about 3 weeks ago. After surgery, I developed a number of serious infections which resulted in a 1 week hospital stay, turn into an almost 5 week one!
The good news is that I got home today, infection free and starting the long road to recovery.
Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers. I really appreciate it. My family have been invaluable to me, and my colleagues in the tourism industry who banded together to help me fulfill my commitments in my business will forever be owed a debt of gratitude. While the road to recovery will be long,
I expect to be back to work in a relatively short time and my business has not, and will not, miss a beat.
That's it. This isn't a sympathy post.... there won't be a go fund me page lol! Just a heads up for those who'd like to know. Again, thanks to you all for your concerns.
