I really enjoyed this week’s SouthernStar.ie great article on upcoming exhibition Lehanmore Community Centre Paul Millard’s “A glimpse of Beara” on TUES 6th August. We’ll get glimpses of Allihies and wider peninsula life and its people in the 1970s, 80s and onwards. Catherine Millard

Pictures include locals, fishing, tourists, culture vultures, exhibitions, musicians, sporting events, festivals and theatrical performances. The exhibition runs for two weeks. All photos displayed can be ordered from Lehanmore Centre, €50. Each picture comes framed. Cash only.
