Wow, we were overwhelmed at the turn out for the women's shed meeting tonight. We also have a huge number of texts from interested women.
Thank you to everyone that turned up tonight.
We have a committee now, and they will start work on the constitution and membership forms.
We'll hold another meeting soon for everyone to sign up, and start working on where to go from there.
We'll be in touch with everyone soon.
We will be sending out the amended constitution and mission statement for review before finalising. We hope we can get up and running in a few weeks.

Meeting in Graignamanagh hall Tuesday 1st October at 7pm.
Calling all women, all ages from Graignamanagh and surrounding area. Are you interested in social meet ups, arts and crafts, walks, any other activities with other women?
We are looking into setting up a Womens Shed in Graignamanagh. We need interested people to see if there's numbers, and a few people to help organise and plan. Funding is available and help applying for it.

With autumn fruits now in full swing, I’m on the lookout for some local trading opportunities. Perhaps your garden is overflowing with apples, pears, or plums, you know of a hidden blackberry patch, or have an orchard producing more than you need.

If you or anyone you know has an excess of fruit, or if you know someone selling cob nuts or Irish hazelnuts, I’d love to swap for some freshly baked goods. Don’t hesitate to get in touch!

More plans to add additional festive cheer are underway and we will keep you posted as the work continues to add more lights and dress more windows People have generously donated towards the festive efforts for gráiguenamanagh and Tinnahinch, so it's important that we keep you up to date . On completion of work... All income and expenditure will be published, but for now...... 12 additional sets of cluster lights purchased 5 feature lights - stars & bells purchased Heavy duty cable to hang lights on purchased Fixings too Battery lights to dress the small trees all along the main street purchased Battery's also purchased Insurance arrangements and related costs in place for the installation and taketown of all lights Hire costs of cherry picker rental Electrician services employed Decorations purchased and made to dress some key windows of vacant premise Materials purchased to create Reindeer to feature on roundabouts All Committee members voluntary and full festive cheer, hoping you will enjoy our beautiful town this christmas with you families & friends
