WE ARE HIRING. Waterside will open again on 1st March and due to being so busy the last couple of years we are now expanding the team. We are looking for extra cooking staff, housekeeping and also a restaurant supervisor. Check out NationalTransport.ie and make a submission on their consultation re expanding the Graiguenamanagh-Kilkenny Bus service from twice a day to four times a day. This would be a huge improvement in connectivity for Graiguenamanagh, including a Sunday service, and would be of benefit to locals and visitors alike. Hopefully lots of people click on the site and support this plan.

Waterside will open for biz again in a months time. We expect another busy season ahead and so we are currently putting together our team for 2024. We will be looking for extra part time staff in all departments, Chef, kitchen assistants, housekeeping, restaurant supervisor and waiting staff. Autumn colours are now dominating Graiguenamanagh and it is time for our winter hibernation. Waterside Graiguenamanagh has now closed for the winter. Thank you to all our customers and our hard working staff during a really busy season and look forward to seeing you all bright eyed and bushy tailed at the beginning of March 2024.

We will be finishing our 25th season at Waterside this Sunday afternoon. A huge thank you to Alice Savage and Betty Kavanagh who have been at the heart of everything we do at Waterside since we first arrived in Graiguenamanagh in Summer 1998. I hope these Cushendale blankets keep them warm during our annual winter hibernation, and ready for action again in Spring 2024.

Some will run for fun, some to compete and others will run for those who dream to walk again after paralysis.
