We operate 10 ensuite bedrooms overlooking the river Barrow in the heart of Graiguenamanagh. The building has a preservation order and that seems sensible when you see the lovely granite stone in the corridors and feature wooden beams in each bedroom. On the ground floor we have a comfy restaurant with seating for 45 guests.

Check out NationalTransport.ie and make a submission on their consultation re expanding the Graiguenamanagh-Kilkenny Bus service from twice a day to four times a day. This would be a huge improvement in connectivity for Graiguenamanagh, including a Sunday service, and would be of benefit to locals and visitors alike. Hopefully lots of people click on the site and support this plan.

Our Story

2015 saw even more exciting developments with the growth of our guided rowing holidays under the banner Irish Rowing Adventures. Calling on over 30 years of experience in rowing we offer tour rowing to clubs from all over the world. So far we have had rowing clubs from Ireland, UK, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, Australia, USA and The Netherlands.

2018 is a significant milestone for us at Waterside as this is our 20th season in Graiguenamanagh. What a helter skelter twenty years it has been!
