You never know who or what you will encounter on our tours.

This was a delight to meet a pack of Irish Wolfhounds, the tallest dog breed in the world standing at 7ft on their hind legs.

The first written history goes back to 391, but the wolfhounds maybe go back further, probably 2000 years and beyond.

The wolfhound is intertwined with Irish history and today you will find them as residents in many castle hotels. They are calm and friendly dogs and make great pets.

Recent private family tour took us from Connemara on the wild Atlantic Way all the way to Kinsale and onto Waterford.
So Many Highlights - Aran islands to Di**le for golf and horse-riding.
The group enjoyed the beautiful coastal towns of Clifden, Doolin, Portmagee and Kinsale.

We love to visit local crafts people on tours.

The craft of blowing glass into beautiful pieces of coloured vases is truly unique and expertly done by the lads working at Jerpoint Glass in Kilkenny as displayed by Rory.

The local area is abundant with heritage sites and craft food and drink producers. Make sure to put it on your list of things to see in Ireland.

Dawn Purcell King and Lisa Purcell-Bogert finally made it to their ancestral home in Loughmore to visit the Purcell castle. They have been planning the trip from Pennsylvania since 2020, 4th time lucky so it was a very exciting and emotional day for Dawn and Lisa and JR to finally step foot the soil of their ancestors.

A warm welcome from Mary and Catherine Purcell Maher at The Cottage Loughmore. Catherine, who herself is a direct decendant of the Purcells brought our guests on a tour of the quaint and beautiful village culminating with a visit to the magnificent Purcell Castle which stands so proudly in the village.

We certainly got the 'Céad Míle Fáilte' from everyone we met
in Loughmore. Tom Larkin very kindly gave us a guided tour of the old mill wheel working. The local community spirit is fantastic in Loughmore intent on protecting our National heritage and welcoming overseas guests. Many thanks to all for the hospitality.
