*Mukwege Foundation charity sale update*

We are still very much looking forward to running our used and vintage clothing charity sale which will now be held in the Autumn time. This will give us plenty of time to gather donations and necessary support for the event.
Many thanks to those of you who have donated already- please rest assured that your donations will be kept in safe storage until the time of the sale.
We will issue details about further donation collections later in the year. In the meantime, bear us in mind when you are doing your spring clearouts! If you have quality clothes or accessories that you are willing to part with, we would be delighted to give them a new home while making money for this charity which supports victims of sexual abuse in war torn Africa.

Heritage Property

Clomantagh Castle is a special property with many unique and fascinating historical features. Built by the Shortall family in the 16th century, this property has been inhabited for over 500 years and remains within the family to this day.

The tower house with adjoining Victorian farmhouse are set within a working farm in the rich landscapes of North Kilkenny. Some of the unique features include a complete bawn wall, spiral stone staircase, ‘murder hole’ and sheela-na-gig. The property is steeped in history and provides guests with a traditional medieval experience.
