Good morning all from a wet and windy Ross Castle Boat Tours. People often ask us how we judge the weather and we always tell them - We never listen to the weather forecast!!! Instead, we get up in the morning, and look out the window.....if we can see the mountains, that means it's going to rain.....if we can't see the mountains.....that means it's raining. Heres a lovely photo of Mangarton and Torc Mountain to prove my point. Enjoy.

Hey folks, for any of you trying to think of something to do with the kids as we head into the weekend, why not call down to Ross Pier at Ross Castle and head out to Innisfallen Island. The island is 21 acres in size and is loved by kids as they roam around the monastic ruins and then head off on the nature trail around the island. You can visit for 30 minutes or if you want give us a call and we can arrange longer visits where you can enjoy a picnic looking out on the fab Lakes of Killarney. The River Walk in the Demesne, Killarney. Always a great place to enjoy an early morning stroll and best of all you can follow it all the way to Ross Castle and find us waiting for you at the pier. Took these snaps this morning of a heron fishing along the River Deenagh.

On Thursday evening the 1st September, we were delighted to look after Jameson Irish Whiskey and their guests on a sunset cruise on the Lakes of Killarney to a magical evening of food, drink and song at Morgan O'Connells on the shores of the Lower Lake, Killarney. We transported 140 guests from the Hotel Europe with the assistance of numerous other Boat operators. I am sharing some photos of this very special evening and want to thank Jameson for allowing us to arrange this wonderful Boat tour.
