We are delighted to be celebrating 30 years of Ross Castle welcoming visitors from all over the World. This iconic building is located in the heart of Killarney National Park on the shores of Lough Lein. This is one of the highlights on our famous Killarney Jaunting Car Tours.

Ross Castle has a very special anniversary to celebrate on July 28. The date will mark 30 years since the official opening of Ross by Minister of State Noel Dempsey. Since then the mighty fortress has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors from every county and country through its doors. We are very grateful for the tremendous work that continues to be carried out by the team at the National Monuments Depot and the past guides who have made Ross the icon that it is today. We look forward to the next 130 years.

We want to thank our local council for providing new disgnated parking bays with feeding areas in our beautiful town Killarney.

This new type of parking bay will help with bringing people to go about their daily chores and with drop and collection points at the Post Office and local supermarkets.

🎀We would like to say a special thank you to all our guests for supporting and helping us to bring a sleighful of festive cheer to the streets of Killarney once again... after a year in absence, this year was one to remember.

🎀We would also like to say a huge thank you to our team, including our wonderful horses🐴, who have worked tirelessly to bring you all such fantastic sleigh ride experiences.
