We were so happy to welcome Melody Walker and Jacob Groopman to Ballyrane House last week!

They were touring here in Ireland, and are working on a series, called ”The Ballyrane Sessions”, where they hope to collaborate with Irish musicians each year — bringing US and Irish musicians together.

I love these two, and they are magnificent musicians — if you like, I hope you’ll share, and also help us identify and communicate with like-minded Irish (or touring US) musicians who might be interested in this kind of a program! This song was written by Melody and Molly Tuttle - and I know you’ll enjoy!

Since we purchased Ballyrane House in 2019, we’ve wanted to update the house and gardens to make it the most comfortable property for our guests. We’ve completely remodeled the kitchen and snug and created an entirely new en suite in one of the huge bedrooms. We are presently painting the entire exterior, and have worked hard to make the gardens gorgeous for Summer! We can’t wait to have you stay - and July 16-23 remains available for your weekly rental!

What an honor!   Our newly renovated kitchen at Ballyrane House, and the incredible interior designer, Aodhain Scallan with are featured in this month's "Irish Country Magazine."  Aodhain is basically your dream designer - great listener, impeccable taste, insanely organized, and the most lovely person you could ever hope to work with!   This was quite an endeavor - remodel a dated country manor house kitchen during a pandemic.  We are truly honored to see our beloved new kitchen (and that island!) in this publication.
