Don't forget to put out your May Bough on the eve of May 1st to celebrate May Day. 'Bealtaine', the ancient pagan / celtic festival marks the start of the Celtic Summer.
In the past it was believed that putting up a May Bough would protect your home against supernatural forces.

As the days begin to get shorter, it's so important to get outside and get some fresh air and vitamin D (when the sun shines that is) And there is no better time than right now 🍂​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​As the leaves begin to change colour and the landscape transforms to shades of yellow, orange and red, getting outdoors gives us front row seats to the stunning display.

Caherconree Mountain is steeped in history, it's home to an Iron Age fort, known as "Cathair Con Rí," which dates back over 2,500 years.

Once you reach the fort, if the weather is in your favour you will get panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and also a glimpse into Ireland's ancient past.

Did you know that it is the second highest peak in the Slieve Mish Mountains on the Di**le Pensuilla.
