It is with a heavy heart we have decided that we will be closing Bee Wise Nature Trail at the end of the summer. We have our Open Days this Sunday 16th June, The Story of Honey 28th July and our last Open day 25th August. Bookings through our website beewise.ie.

Halloween is around the corner! Have you booked into Bee-Wise, for your Halloween fun this year. We've changed up the set again this year to add some extra tricks and treats for you all. Our Daytime event for all ages is Bee Tricked and Bee Treated where you can have some fun with a few scares if you wish.
Our evening event The Forest of Doom is for those of you who want an extra level of scare! Know what it is to live like a bee within nature’s elaborate eco-system and cycle of life.
Hear intriguing insights like how bees do an in-hive waggle dance to inform fellow bees about where to find the best nectar.
View the honeybees through a large working observation hive.
See up close the inside of a honeybee hive from empty frame to one full with honey. Feel the difference in weight.
Then watch the liquid honey flow from a frame fresh from the hive in a glass extractor.
End with a tasting of diverse honeys such as spring, summer, and ivy honey
Our honey and beeswax products are available to purchase on the day.
There will be two sessions - Sunday 23rd July 10am and 2pm.
