We had a beautiful day this week visiting the stunning gardens of House & Parklands located a short drive away in the heart of West Wicklow. They have a Walled Maze, Bird of Prey Centre, endless walks, Artisans of Russborough workshop and more. There's something for everyone! Come see for yourself! 🌸🐦🌿🎨🌳⁠⠀

A short drive from our cottages is Glendalough Monastic Village. Founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century, this is one of the most important monastic sites in the whole of Ireland. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
St. Kevin's Cemetery is situated within the monastic site and is still in use today. Even with its age, most of the headstones are in good condition. Our own family history is evident there dating back over four generations.⁠⠀

This year has been a crazy one for all of us. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself and getting time to relax and recharge, however that looks where you are.

When things open back up, pencil in a retreat to our stunning backyard to explore the endless trails and serene nature of Glendalough. 🏞✨⛰
