🎙️ The Corn Mill Theatre in Carrigallen is an intimate venue for touring productions, musical artists and live bands.
The Theatre and Arts Centre is also home to the Corn Mill Theatre Group. The group produces two full-length productions annually- a great time to visit this pretty town!
🎭 The tradition of Drama in Carrigallen goes back to the late 1800s. The present group was founded in 1963 as The Community Players and there has been no break in activity since that time.

🚣 The annual Carrick-on-Shannon Rowing Club Regatta will be held on Sunday, August 4th this year!
The Regatta will be held on the 500 metres stretch of water immediately south of the town bridge commencing at 9am and finishing at approximately 6pm.
The event is an exciting day for Carrick-on-Shannon as hundreds of people will turn out to watch some unmissable racing and of course, great craic will be had all day long. Best of luck to everyone involved!

Fenagh Abbey boasts the only fully intact gothic window in Ireland. It is one of the oldest monastic sites in Ireland, believed to date back to the earliest period of Celtic monasticism. The founder was St. Caillin, thought to have arrived in Fenagh from Dunmore in Country Galway in the 5th century (according to the Book of Fenagh).
