🏆🏆Cheltenham Selections Competition 2022 🏆🏆

We are running a competition for our members this week for The Festival, here are the rules:
- pick 2 horses for each day
- pick weather you are selecting win or each way for each horse
- the price of the selections will be the SP
- the selections must be sent in via WhatsApp or messenger by 12 each day for the racing on that day
- only members of the society can play
- the highest points at the end of the week will be our winner

Our main prize is currently a UL horse racing jacket and there are also other prizes for longest priced selection and best double of the festival.
If your a student in UL and want to play, it’s not to late to join and get your selections in!

A few members came up to support Mark in the Student Derby race although we weren’t in the winners enclosure, the craic and atmosphere up there was great. If anyone is interested in joining send us a message for racing news and future trips 🏇🏾

Hi all, we have 4 seats available for our trip tomorrow if anyone wants to jump on the wagon. We’re leaving UL at 10:30 and it’ll cost only €15! It’s not to late even if you not a member yet! Just send us a message if your interested. 🏇🏾

The Horseware Ireland Student Derby is a new exhibition race which will take place as the final race of the Curragh flat season...

We are delighted to announce that we have one of our very own members representing us in the Horseware Ireland Student Derby which will be taking place at The Curragh Racecourse on the 26th of October.

The race is the first of its kind, thanks to the European Student Horse Racing Federation. The race will include riders from many Universities in Ireland and further a field such as Oxford, Nottingham and Cardiff Universities to name a few.
