We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of our good friend the very rev. Father Peter Brady parish priest of Legan and Ballycloughan.
We at Donnelly’s coaches had the privilege of touring all over Ireland with the Aurora club and Fr. Peter at the helm. He put everyone else first and seldom thought of himself. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. Sincere sympathy to his brothers and family members. Rest in peace Fr. Peter from Margaret Pat Alan Eileen and all at Donnelly’s.

It is with a heavy heart that all of us here at Donnelly’s Coaches bring the sad news of the passing of our great friend and colleague, John O’Reilly.
John was a one off, when we say that, what we mean is John was special, as a coach driver, tour guide and friend for over 40 years here at Donnelly’s Coaches.
John had one great fault, he was never in a hurry. People looked for him year after year to drive them on tour and that really says something about the gentleman he was.
John was a very talented man in the garage, we all learned a lot from him over the years. So St Peter is getting the best coach driver, tour guide, mechanic and friend that ever came in the golden gates.
Our sincerest sympathies to his wife May and his children Arlene, Kathy, Patricia, Peter, John, Damien and Susanne.
RIP big John,

PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGES BELOW

Hello everyone, due to a number of enquiries we are considering running a bus to do a tour of West Cork from the 20th to the 23rd of August for the 100th anniversary of the assassination of Michael Collins. The tour will take in Beál na Bláth, the Michael Collins Centre, his birthplace and a wide range of tourist sites in beautiful West Cork.
If there are enough numbers, the tour will go ahead.

The Farrell Clan Tour
I'd like to thank everybody associated with the Farrell Clan Tour that I had the pleasure of driving for the past two days. We travelled the highways and byways of North and South Longford, viewing all of the historical sites that County Longford has to offer. We visited Edgeworthstown, Granard, Colmcille, with parts of Cavan along the way, Gowna, Arva, Michael Masterson the Haggared in Ballyduffy-Moyne, Corlea Centre in Kenagh, the Ardagh Heritage Centre,and of course the ruins of the Castle of Farrells stronghold in the 1700's in Castlerea Moydow. We concluded the journey in the beautiful village of Abbeyshrule, with a tour of the village and we made one last stop for dinner in the Rustic Inn.

Thank you to all of the Farrells from all over the world, it was a pleasure to be with you all and drive the coach. A special thank you to the organisers in County Longford, John and Hugh Farrell and also to the Chieftain Connie Farrell and his wife Rose. Thank you all for a wonderful couple of days, I hope we meet again soon.
